Exciting news for collectors—the 2026-dated Gold Eagles are here! This year marks both America’s 250th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of the iconic Gold Eagle series. With the semiquincentennial celebration in full swing, these key-date coins are sure to be among the most sought-after releases from the U.S. Mint. Don’t miss this landmark moment in numismatics—secure your 2026 Gold Eagle now and own a piece of American history in pure gold!
This stunning gold coin is an American icon, proudly displaying the nation’s most popular symbols. It starts with the famous image designed by American Sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907 for the $20 Gold Double Eagle that shows Lady Liberty walking forward with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. The coin’s reverse is the work of Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) artist Jennie Norris and was sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon. It displays an “Eagle Portrait” that features a close-up profile of a bald eagle that captures the intricate details of its plumage and its steely gaze.
Here you can secure the $5 Gold Eagle struck in a tenth of an ounce of highly pure 91.7% fine 22-karat gold. It will also come graded by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) as being in flawless Mint State-70 (MS70) condition, a distinction that means your perfectly-graded coin will have ZERO imperfections—showing all features and fields exactly as the engraver and mint intended. In addition, PCGS has designated that this Gold Eagle is a First Strike (FS) coin, a designation that means your coin was received by PCGS or an PCGS-approved depository within the first 30 days of its release. It will also come sonically sealed in an acrylic holder and encapsulated with a special American Flag label.
Gold Eagles like these are perennial favorites, usually flying out of the vaults as soon as they arrive! Whether you’re new to the series or a diehard collector, this is your chance to secure this special key-date 40th Anniversary 2026 Gold Eagle for your very own.
